What they did

1) Open a supported Outlook version with an account that has Copilot access. In new or classic Outlook for Windows, select Home, New Mail, then Mail, and write the message you intend to send. 2) Open the toolbar's Copilot menu and choose Coaching by Copilot. 3) Read the suggestions about tone, clarity and likely reader sentiment. Incorporate individual changes manually, or choose Apply all suggestions to regenerate the draft using the feedback. 4) Read the revised message before sending; when it conveys your intended message, send it from Outlook. The coaching step finishes with a draft for your decision, followed by your normal send action.

Worth knowing

The provider also documents Mac and mobile flows. Copilot requires the current Outlook for Mac; the legacy Mac version is unsupported.
