What they did
1) Install Letterly on a phone, enable microphone access, and set the speaker language in Settings if automatic detection is unreliable. Have the facts you want to communicate ready. 2) Tap Record, speak the message in your own words, and tap Stop to create a transcript. Open the resulting note and replay the audio to correct names, dates, and other transcription errors. 3) Tap Rewrite and select an output option suited to the message. Choose whether to rewrite the original transcript or the current rewritten version. 4) Swipe between the transcript and the generated versions to compare them. Edit the chosen version so it keeps your intended facts and meaning. 5) Use Copy or Share with to place the checked text in the destination app.
How it went
Reviewer Colin C reported that Letterly removed his spoken fillers and organized the text after he chose an output option.
Worth knowing
Use Stop to retain the recording. The official guide says Back and Restart discard the recording in progress.
