What they did
1) Prepare Claude Code with a docx/PDF skill, Gemini API access and a Python OCR script; collect the decision, application and medical scans in separate local folders. 2) Submit each JPG to Gemini for text extraction that preserves structure, saving a matching .txt beside each image. 3) Create CLAUDE.md describing the folder layout, disputed findings and instruction to read the text companions. 4) Give Claude rough objections; have it cross-reference dates and diagnoses and fetch the relevant official government assessment rules. Review every fact and citation, incorporating corrections and new records through versioned drafts. 5) After reviewing the final text, use the document-generation skill to produce Word and PDF copies.
How it went
The author produced an eleven-version, 230-line appeal with dated evidence references and formatted submission files.
Worth knowing
This demonstrates document preparation; the article does not establish that the appeal won.
