What they did
1) Create a Claude Project called Already Decided. In its instructions, name already-decided.md as the record. Require answers from existing rules first, explicit labels on new suggestions, conflict reporting, and human confirmation before adding entries. 2) Start an interview, one question at a time, about household values, protected commitments, existing rules, standing yes/no categories, recurring debates, and disagreements. Require follow-up questions about when and why each rule was agreed. 3) Ask Claude to compile a dated document linking each rule to its value, decision date, reasoning, and questions it settles. Include separate lists for unagreed assumptions, missing rules, and seasonal review. 4) Review it and paste the approved text into Project content. Test three real questions in a fresh chat. Confirm corrections before replacing the record. 5) For a decision you have made, supply the recipient and context; ask for a short message using one recorded reason, then choose and send it yourself.
