What they did

1) On the desktop web version of Gemini Notebook, open a notebook you can edit or create one and upload your study documents. Edit access is required to generate audio. 2) In Studio, select Audio Overview. Choose Deep Dive and English output for interactive use, and enter instructions about the topic or expertise level you want. Generate a new overview. 3) Open Interactive mode, start listening, and select Join when you need clarification. Wait for the hosts to invite your question, then ask aloud about the uploaded material. They answer and resume the original discussion. 4) Continue listening or download the original overview through the audio player's Download control for later playback.

Worth knowing

Interactive mode is English-only and requires a newly generated overview. Shared links do not give recipients interactive access; generated speech may contain inaccuracies or glitches.
