What they did
1) Sign in to Mapify and have the PDF you want to study available on your device. Prefer the original readable document to screenshots of its pages. 2) Choose PDF in the left panel and upload the file by selecting it or dragging it into the upload area. Let Mapify generate the structured summary. 3) Use the map's AI chat to narrow the output to the chapter, definitions, or exam topics you need. Ask for more detail on a weak branch or regenerate an unclear section. 4) Check important figures and claims against the original PDF. Once the branches are useful, export the map as a PDF, image, Markdown, or XMind file, or share it by link.
Worth knowing
Mapify's guide recommends working chapter by chapter on long documents and checking original tables when numbers matter. A generated study map is a review aid rather than evidence that the whole PDF was retained accurately.
