What they did
1) Have Claude Code installed and signed in, Obsidian available, and text or Markdown notes ready. Create a working folder with `raw` and `wiki` subfolders; on macOS or Linux, run `mkdir -p ~/knowledge-base/raw ~/knowledge-base/wiki`, then `cd ~/knowledge-base`. Copy the notes into `raw`. 2) Start `claude` in that folder and request wiki pages in `wiki` based on the files in `raw`. Specify extraction of concepts and relationships, source-file references, tags, related topics, and `[[links]]` between pages. 3) Ask it to check existing pages before creating another page on the same topic, merge overlapping information, and maintain `wiki/_Index.md` with categorized links and short descriptions. 4) Open the folder as an Obsidian vault. Browse the index and graph, follow the links, and trace page content back to the named raw files when checking the synthesis.
How it went
