What they did

1) Install Savor on iPhone or Android and have the bill or letter available to photograph. 2) Capture it with the camera; the app reads the photo and creates a card describing the item, its timing and the next action. 3) Check those details against the original and correct anything missed. Place the card in Now, Soon or Later and choose when you want a reminder. If the due date changes, edit the card date; its reminder retains the same lead time. 4) To delegate the follow-up, hand off the card or an individual step to your partner and add context in its private chat. After they accept, they receive editing control and reminders while you retain a read-only copy. Keep the card as the reminder for the follow-up.

Worth knowing

The maker says a handoff can be taken back. Take Action is a beta for suggestions, plans and drafts; capturing a bill does not establish that it has been paid.
