What they did
1) Have a Claude account and an AI Applyd account with existing applications. In Claude Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, enter `https://mcp.aiapplyd.com/mcp`, add it, choose Connect, and sign in through Google or an email link. 2) For replies from your own mailbox, obtain access to the Hired Yesterday integrations beta and connect Gmail or Outlook. Ask Claude to confirm which mailbox is connected. 3) Ask whether recruiters have replied about your applications. Read the returned messages and ask for a draft answer to the relevant reply. 4) Review the exact draft, request any changes, and approve the final text before the connector sends it. For silent applications, request a follow-up draft and use the same review-and-approve sequence.
