What they did
1) Set up Claude Code with access to a client-document folder. In that folder's CLAUDE.md, define the client's background, summary template, file naming convention, storage location and work-log update instructions. 2) After a meeting, record yourself describing what happened and transcribe the recording. Give Claude Code the transcript while working in that client folder. 3) Ask it to structure the debrief using the documented summary format and relate it to the client's existing material. 4) Have it save the summary under the agreed name and update the client's work log, leaving the meeting record available for future project work.
How it went
The author reports this debrief-to-summary process taking about five minutes instead of thirty.
Worth knowing
The author emphasizes defining the folder structure and instructions first, then refining CLAUDE.md as the workflow develops.
