What they did
1) Give Claude access to your book and notes workspace. The author used a Show Your Work! EPUB and Obsidian. 2) Ask for an index and chapter notes, separating main ideas from spaces for personal reflections. Write those reflections yourself. 3) Supply the note paths; ask Claude to read every chapter, distinguish your answers from summaries, find recurring themes, and question vague or contradictory answers. 4) Request a few themes with one to three actions each for this week or month. Consolidate overlaps and answer clarification questions. 5) Adopt the agreed actions; the author chose daily note capture, weekly posts, and a private-material list.
