What they did

1) Create or open the design you want to translate in Canva, with Translate available on your account. Select the relevant page background or page thumbnail. 2) In the floating toolbar, choose Edit to open the Edit Page panel, then select Translate. 3) Choose the target language and the page to translate; optionally select an available tone. 4) In translation settings, keep Duplicate page when translating enabled to preserve the source. Keep Reduce font size to fit enabled if the translation may be longer; use Mirror page to match text direction when appropriate. 5) Select Translate, wait for the new version, then inspect the translated page for text fit and unsupported characters. Choose another font if the current one cannot display the translation.

Worth knowing

The guide supports one target language at a time and states a 2,000-character limit. Some fonts and tone options are unsupported.
