What they did

1) Have the PDF you want to understand available in Acrobat, with access to AI Assistant. Open the PDF and select AI Assistant. 2) Choose a suggested question or type a question about information in that document, then submit it. 3) In the answer, select a source number to jump to the passage Acrobat used. Read that passage to check whether it supports the answer and whether nearby text changes its meaning. 4) Ask a follow-up question if something remains unclear. Once checked, use Copy to retain the answer, or Options followed by Copy full summary to reuse the whole summary. If the question spans several documents, use Add files to create a PDF Space first.

Worth knowing

The official guide describes answers with citations and highlighted source passages; it does not report a measured accuracy rate or time saving.
