What they did
1) Open ChatGPT and prepare your latest resume with personal contact information removed. Have the target role, company and job description ready. 2) Request a conversational cover letter for that role and company using the resume as reference. Alternatively, supply the description and request a letter under 400 words, or ask it to incorporate the description's five most important keywords. 3) Use Shift+Enter to add a new line and paste the stripped resume beneath the request; submit it for the first draft. 4) Save the result in Google Docs or Word and edit it yourself before using it in an application.
