What they did
1) Save a factual base resume as a reusable template and open a spreadsheet for the application batch. Gather relevant vacancies from job boards such as Indeed, We Work Remotely and LinkedIn. 2) For one vacancy at a time, provide the base resume and paste the complete job description into ChatGPT. Ask it to adapt the summary and experience bullets to the posting's vocabulary. 3) Compare the rewritten wording with your actual experience; retain equivalent descriptions rather than adding qualifications or work you never performed. 4) Submit the tailored resume for that vacancy, then repeat with the next description while tracking the application batch.
How it went
The poster reports 100 applications, 14 responses, six phone screens, three interviews and one accepted offer after two weeks. These are self-reported batch results.
