What they did
1) Create one Grok Bot for the morning digest. Connect the email, calendar and relevant meeting-transcript sources it should read, using connectors where available. 2) Save the briefing instructions as a skill: calendar first, then what is due, then emails and follow-ups needing you. Require real dates, a next step for each item, and tables or bullets. Exclude promotions, reminders and spam; tell it to disclose sources it could not check. 3) Ask that Bot to run the skill every weekday before your chosen morning time; the author uses before 8 a.m. Use the routine's test option before the first scheduled run. 4) Read the digest and correct false reply reminders, checking all connected mail locations. Keep outgoing replies as drafts for your own sending.
How it went
The author reports receiving one consistently ordered message each morning, replacing checks across multiple apps.
Worth knowing
All Bots share the account's computer and logins. Missing source access previously caused false reminders about already-answered email.
