What they did
1) In Claude, request a one-question-at-a-time interview covering travel pace, food restrictions, budget priorities, transport, companions, and non-negotiables. Save its resulting one-page traveler profile. 2) Create a Travel Planning Project and add that profile to its knowledge. Instruct Claude to ask for missing dates and budget, search current prices and opening hours, and flag conflicts with your preferences. 3) Ask Claude to write Trip-Planning.md with this sequence: compare neighborhoods, draft activities, locate their geographic cluster, choose hotels nearby, check hours and booking windows, compare flights, then assemble the dashboard. Give the skill a description saying to use it for trip planning; install and enable it under Customize → Skills. 4) Supply a destination and dates. Request an Artifact containing timed days, transit, hotel links, restaurants, budget categories, and unresolved decisions. Share its link with your traveling companion.
Worth knowing
The planner hands over booking links. The source's separate browser-booking workflow requires additional setup and purchase approval.
