What they did
1) Prepare an Obsidian vault and give Claude Cowork access to the folder where the conference notes will live. Gather the published schedule, session details, travel information, and a transcript of your preferences and scheduling conflicts. 2) Paste the schedule and transcript into Cowork and work through which sessions you will attend. 3) Ask it to build a linked hub containing event details, your chosen schedule, the full program, people, materials, logistics, and unresolved conflicts. 4) Have it make a daily table of times, sessions, and locations, linking each row to a separate session note. Include the abstract and spaces for notes, takeaways, questions, and follow-ups. 5) Review the chosen sessions and links in Obsidian; sync the vault beforehand if you need access on other devices or without a connection.
How it went
The author reports using a hub whose schedule entries opened dedicated session notes, with the conference information available as local, synced text.
