What they did
1) In n8n, import Ioana's template 21206, 'Save, extract, and log email invoices with Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Claude, and PDF.co'. Connect Gmail, Drive and Sheets OAuth credentials and an Anthropic credential for extraction. 2) Create the Gmail label invoices-processed. Set invoicesFolderId to your root Drive folder and adjust the trigger's invoice search. For invoice web pages, add PDF.co credentials and allowed renderLinkDomains. 3) Test an invoice email: the workflow chooses the month from its arrival date, takes an attached PDF or retrieves the invoice link, extracts supplier, tax ID, date, amount and currency, then files the PDF and appends a monthly sheet row. 4) Compare initial rows with their PDFs, then enable the 15-minute trigger. Share the completed month folder and sheet with your accountant.
Worth knowing
Links requiring login are skipped and need a manual download. Missing extracted values remain blank. The processed label prevents filing the same email again.
