What they did
1) Install MonAi on your phone and open an expense list. Have the purchases and amounts you want to record ready; the current app website offers a trial followed by subscription access. 2) Use voice entry to describe the purchases naturally, including the amounts and what each purchase was for. The current website demonstrates dictating a coffee purchase followed by groceries in the same note. 3) Let MonAi separate the speech into entries and infer their amounts and categories. Typing a plain-language expense is an alternative when speaking is inconvenient. 4) Review the resulting list against the purchases you described, checking that each amount and category belongs to the right entry before using the list's spending overview. Continue recording purchases through the same list rather than keeping a separate unprocessed voice-note backlog.
Worth knowing
The maker's original launch used the device-region currency and discussed broader currency handling as future work. The current website lists multi-currency support; do not interpret the old launch reply as a current feature limit.
