What they did
1) Prepare a local folder accessible to Claude Code containing old resumes, career notes, self-assessments, and project evidence. Add CLAUDE.md describing your role, source locations, and desired writing voice. 2) Ask Claude to organize the evidence into resume.md for the current resume and cv.md for the fuller history. Review the achievements and metrics against your notes and decide what belongs in the current version. 3) Treat resume.md as the master and request linkedin.md with ready-to-copy headline, summary, and experience sections derived from it. 4) Review the wording, then paste the approved sections into LinkedIn yourself. For later changes, update resume.md first and regenerate the corresponding profile sections from that file.
How it went
The author reports completing his broader professional refresh in a weekend; the LinkedIn sections and resume used the same source and framing.
Worth knowing
He supplied the career history, chose what to include, and reviewed the output. Claude's role was organization and refinement of that material.
