What they did

1) Save the presentation to OneDrive and open it in PowerPoint for the web while signed into a Microsoft account. Use an English interface, an internet connection, and a working microphone in a quiet place. 2) On Slide Show, select Rehearse with Coach. With the older ribbon layout, start it from View instead. Select Get Started when you are ready. 3) Present aloud while moving through the slides. Watch the feedback about pacing, fillers, and reading the slide text, then adjust your delivery as you practice. 4) Exit the full-screen presentation when finished to open the Rehearsal Report. Read its statistics and suggested improvements. 5) Take a screenshot if you want to keep the report, then choose Rehearse Again to practice the recommendations.

Worth knowing

The report disappears when closed. Speaker Coach currently understands English and works best with one speaker; speech is sent to Microsoft's service for analysis.
