What they did
1) On macOS, install Bun and Xcode Command Line Tools, enable Bluetooth, and obtain a Muse SDK token. 2) In the project directory, run bun install and then bun start; startup checks whether Muse and WeChat are paired and guides any missing setup. 3) In the Muse mobile app, open Settings > Devices, turn on Developer mode, choose Add Device, select the MuseGadget device shown in the terminal, confirm it, and choose the current Wi-Fi connection. 4) Pair WeChat by scanning the QR code shown in the terminal. Optionally set MUSE_SESSION_ID to select an existing Muse session; otherwise the bridge uses the main session.
Worth knowing
The project supports text and images in one WeChat conversation; video and file messages are unsupported. Its debug mode writes full Muse event payloads, including message content, to local JSONL logs.
