What they did
1) Sign in to NotebookLM with a Google account, create a new notebook, and name it for the course or research question. Have the two readings available as supported files, web links, or pasted text. 2) Use Add a source to add both documents; wait for the notebook's source summary and suggested questions. 3) Ask a focused comparison question that identifies the documents and the issue being compared, rather than requesting a general summary. The tutorial uses contrasting arguments about climate policy as its example. 4) Open the numbered citations in the answer and read the highlighted source passages. Check each claimed similarity or disagreement against those passages before recording it in your own notes.
