What they did
1) Create a Claude Project with household tastes, appliances and cooking-time limits. Connect Notion with read/write access and grant access to the shared Apple Reminders shopping list. 2) Have Claude create four linked Notion databases: Recipes (name, ingredients, steps, perishability); Pantry (item, quantity, in-stock and staple flags); Weekly Plan (recipe, date, status); Shopping List (item, quantity, store, associated recipe, purchased flag). Inventory the kitchen once, including condiments. 3) Request the week's dinners, review roughly 15 proposals and select three or four. 4) Have Claude write the plan, put perishable ingredients early, and calculate missing ingredients excluding pantry staples. 5) Sync groceries to Reminders, tagging agent-created entries with a Meal plan note. On replanning, remove dropped meals' agent-created items, retaining anything shared with another planned meal, already purchased or entered by a person.
How it went
The author cooked the first suggested dish, dry-fried green beans with beef, and reported liking it.
