Turn four reference photos into a simulated materials study and two 3D prints
At a glance
An MIT researcher used three Grok Bots to design a beam-network simulator, run experiments and manufacture two selected structures. This workflow is listed under materials-science, simulation, 3d-printing, agent-teams.

What they did
Markus Buehler supplied four photographs as structural design cues. A Chief of Staff coordinated a Physics Experimenter that wrote an interactive 2D beam-network lab, compared designs at a fixed material budget and prepared a scientific report. A 3D Printing Bot opened the selected STL files in Bambu Studio, sliced them and operated a Bambu Lab H2D.
How it went
He reports a working simulator in about 20 minutes, 47 simulation experiments including six holdouts, and both prints completed in under an hour.
Worth knowing
The 47 experiments ran in the simulator; the subsequent printing step fabricated two selected designs.
