Import a saved recipe into an editable draft before keeping it
At a glance

What they did
1) Use Mise on iPhone or Android and prepare one recipe source: a TikTok or Instagram recipe, recipe-site link, screenshot or pasted text. 2) Bring that source into Recipe Import. The app first tries to extract the recipe on the device. 3) If key information is incomplete, use the Smart Import cloud pass, which can also be chosen directly. The maker says this sends extracted recipe text rather than the original link, image or video. 4) Review the editable draft against the source, correct ingredients or missing cooking time, and save only after those edits. Repeat separately for the next recipe.
How it went
The maker reported shipping Recipe Import on both mobile platforms. He had not yet measured how often users edited drafts or used the cloud fallback.
Worth knowing
Every import requires review, and bulk import is deliberately unavailable. The data-handling description is the maker's account of this implementation.
