What they did

1) Have a Dashly account and an assistant supporting remote MCP connectors. Add https://dashly.si/mcp in the assistant's connector settings, sign in to Dashly and authorize the connection. Claude users can also find Dashly through Customize, Connectors, Discover. 2) Ask the connected assistant to list your topics, then select or create a water-intake topic with milliliters as its canonical unit. State the goal amount, time window and whether it is a minimum, maximum or range. 3) Tell the assistant how much you drank. Have it convert the quantity to the topic's unit before logging; give a measured amount when you know it. 4) Ask it to read back the entries and inspect the dashboard tile against the goal. Correct a mistaken entry through the assistant rather than adding a second entry for the same drink.

Worth knowing

The maker uses approximately 250 ml for an unspecified glass. Goal direction must be explicit, and repeated add operations create additional entries.
