What they did

1) Install OGAM on Android or iPhone. On a reliable connection, download a local text model that fits the phone and confirm it answers a short chat. Download the trip documents themselves, including venue instructions, programme, accommodation details and dated personal notes. 2) Open Projects, choose New, name the trip and save. In Knowledge Base, use Add for local documents or Text for notes; wait for indexing and enable the intended sources with Use. 3) Under Chats, start a project conversation. Ask a narrow question about the venue entrance and another about preparation. Request the source filename and check each answer against the document. 4) Disable Wi-Fi and mobile data. Reopen the app, load the model, repeat both questions and open an original file. Fix missing downloads or indexing while connected, then repeat the disconnected test.

Worth knowing

Mobile indexing does not OCR scanned PDFs. Offline answers cannot supply later flight changes or updated opening hours; keep essential originals accessible separately.
