What they did
1) Have a Claude Pro or Max account, current Claude Desktop on macOS or Windows, and the mobile app signed into that account. Configure a Drive connector on the desktop with access to the research folder. Keep both devices online and the desktop awake. 2) In desktop Cowork, open Dispatch, select Get started, review connector and plugin permissions, and finish setup. Open the Dispatch thread on your phone. 3) Send one complete task identifying the Drive folder and requesting a ten-slide outline with speaker notes drawn from its six research documents. 4) Reopen the shared thread to collect the outline, inspect the themes and notes, and send feedback there if it needs revision.
How it went
The author reports that the outline was ready after a fifteen-minute walk.
Worth knowing
In the author's test, desktop sleep interrupted work and there was no completion notification. Repeated revision cycles were less convenient than working at the desktop.
