What they did
1) Start a NotebookLM notebook with the exam scope and your existing experience. Describe likely gaps and ask it to prioritize relevant documentation, guides, and community resources; load the chosen resources into the notebook. 2) Ask for the theoretical concepts the exam tests, then read those explanations and question unclear points in chat. 3) Generate audio summaries and listen after reading to reinforce the same material in another format. 4) Generate flashcards and use failed recall to identify sections to revisit. Generate infographics for relationships that are harder to understand in prose. 5) Work through quizzes from easy to medium to hard. Use the explanation option on wrong answers, ask follow-up questions, and reread the corresponding material before completing the study cycle.
How it went
The author reports studying over Saturday and Sunday and passing KCNA on Monday.
Worth knowing
The author already held CKA and CKAD certifications and had five to six years of Kubernetes experience. The weekend result is not evidence that a beginner needs only two days.
