What they did
1) Give a Grok Bot permission to edit your workout spreadsheet and provide the existing Peloton and Apple Health records it should extend. Keep the established columns as the destination schema. 2) Send a screenshot of the completed workout instead of retyping its figures. Ask the bot to extract every displayed field into the corresponding columns. 3) Have it check the existing log for the same workout before appending a row. 4) After writing, make it read the stored row back and compare it with the screenshot. Correct a mismatch before accepting the entry. Repeat this capture-and-verification loop for subsequent workouts.
How it went
The author reports maintaining a combined log spanning years, with screenshot entry, duplicate checks and a read-back after saving.
Worth knowing
This requires an already accessible spreadsheet. The post describes the behavior but does not publish connector setup or integration code; the author reports using Ultra.
