What they did

1) Have an AI chatbot, Anki and a target language. Ask the chatbot for the ten verbs most commonly used in that language's everyday speech. 2) Ask for four short A1-level sentences for each verb, returned as an Anki-compatible CSV. Specify the front and back you want to study, such as the target-language sentence and its meaning. 3) Save the CSV as UTF-8. In Anki, choose File > Import, select the file, map the columns to the note's front and back, and import into a language deck. 4) Study the resulting 40 cards rather than leaving the generated sentences in the chat.
