What they did
1) Prepare the current resume and the full target job posting, and paste both into the same ChatGPT conversation or upload the resume. 2) Ask for the posting's four to six essential requirements, separating them from optional qualifications. 3) Request a rewrite that puts each requirement genuinely supported by the resume into the summary, skills list, and an evidence bullet, using the employer's terminology. Require unchanged employers, dates, and job titles, and list missing qualifications separately. 4) Request a cover letter connecting two or three requirements to actual experience. 5) Read every line, remove invented skills or results, transfer the corrected text into a document, format it, and export the application PDFs. Repeat for each posting.
