What they did
1) Sign into Adobe Firefly with a supported audio recording ready. For a free-plan attempt, keep the file within the documented 500 MB and 30-minute per-file limits and the remaining daily allowance. 2) From Firefly's home page, choose Generate, open the Audio tab, and select Enhance Speech. Upload the recording with Choose files or drag and drop. 3) After processing, select the recording in the file list. Adjust the Speech slider to change voice enhancement and the Background slider to change the remaining background level. 4) Switch between the original and enhanced versions and listen to the parts that were difficult to hear. Readjust the sliders until the balance is usable. 5) Select Download to save the processed recording.
Worth knowing
Video and bulk uploads require Premium. Adobe says output quality depends on the audibility of the original speech; this tool does not translate it.
