Wire CloudBase MCP into CodeBuddy Code CLI for natural-language backend ops
At a glance

What they did
Install Node.js 18.15+ and open a CloudBase environment. Prefer the plugin marketplace: codebuddy plugin marketplace add TencentCloudBase/CloudBase-AI-Toolkit, then codebuddy plugin install cloudbase@tencent-cloudbase, and start a fresh session. Or add MCP only with codebuddy mcp add --scope project cloudbase --env INTEGRATION_IDE=CodeBuddyCode -- npx @cloudbase/cloudbase-mcp@latest, or put an HTTP mcpServers.cloudbase entry in .mcp.json. Sign in via Device login when you already have a Tencent Cloud account, or use tcb login with a CloudBase API key and env ID. Then ask the CLI agent in natural language to scaffold mini programs, model Postgres, wire auth, and deploy.
Worth knowing
International-site environments need TCB_SITE=intl (or --site intl) before login, or auth hits the China-site page. Do not commit CloudBase API keys. If MCP tools show as zero, fix .mcp.json, ensure npx works, restart CodeBuddy Code, and confirm login.
