What they did

1) Open Muse with WhatsApp messaging available. Supply the retailer's product URL, exact model, storage, color, price and acceptable pickup stores. Aman specified Apple Canada and five stores in British Columbia. 2) Ask Muse to check those stores every five minutes and remain silent while stock is unavailable. Explicitly reserve purchasing for yourself. 3) Require a fresh availability check before an alert, followed by the store, price, pickup date and booking link in WhatsApp. 4) When the alert arrives, open the retailer's link, reserve the matching item yourself and collect it at the selected store.

How it went

Aman reports collecting the phone at Pacific Centre that day after Muse caught an availability window lasting about five minutes.
