What they did
1) Install Grok Bot from x.ai/bot, sign in with an account that has access, and set your timezone in Settings → General. 2) Choose New → Create new Bot and name it Morning Brief. In Connect apps, add the X plugin and sign in; bookmarks and the home timeline require that connection. 3) Give it one job: read your bookmarks and followed accounts, check claims against original sources, and return short items explaining relevance with links. Keep posting and messaging behind approval. 4) Run the task in chat, correct the format, save the process as a skill, and test a second example. 5) Request a daily 7 AM routine that covers posts since the previous brief and reports even when nothing changed. 6) Open the bot's Routines, press Test run, inspect the linked brief, and check run history after the first scheduled morning.
