What they did
1) Collect architectural plans, cabinet drawings, dated renders and construction photos. Tell ChatGPT Work which references govern the proposed layout and which details have changed. 2) Request an editable model with dimensions in inches, room/object data in model.json, a Three.js viewer and a bundled HTML export. 3) Rotate the model and mark incorrect geometry on screenshots. State the viewing direction and identify what must move or remain, rather than asking for an unspecified improvement. 4) Hold the water heater in place and request separate laundry options: side-by-side machines, machines without added storage, and stacked alternatives. Compare them through room tabs. 5) Save the HTML; to inspect it on a phone, serve it from your computer on the same Wi-Fi and request touch navigation.
How it went
The author reports switching among the laundry alternatives and using touch and walking controls on a phone after repeated corrections.
Worth knowing
Photo-derived dimensions remain estimates. The model does not establish appliance compatibility or installation clearances; local serving requires the computer to remain available.
