What they did

1) Have an Adobe Express account and a video in a supported spoken language ready. For the Caption video quick action, use a file no larger than 1 GB and a video no longer than five minutes. 2) On the Express homepage, select the plus icon, open Quick actions, and choose Video, then Caption video. Select the language spoken in the video and browse to the file on your device. 3) Let Express create the captions, then use Edit caption text to correct the generated wording against the spoken audio. Choose a caption style and adjust text, shape, or shadow colors as needed. 4) Review the corrected captions in the preview and select Download to obtain the captioned video.

Worth knowing

The quick action requires a supported spoken language; Adobe provides a specific language list in its technical requirements.
