What they did
1) Give Muse the Chicago-to-Connecticut route, Thanksgiving travel window, nearby airports within a two-hour drive, and the dog drop-off and pick-up time constraints. 2) Ask it to compare flight fares and Uber costs for each airport, weighing both total cost and travel time. 3) Review the three options and use a provided booking link to purchase the preferred itinerary yourself.
How it went
The author estimates the comparison saved 30 to 60 minutes of manually checking airports and ground transport.
Worth knowing
The post reports three options and links but does not say which itinerary the couple ultimately booked.
