What they did

1) Have Google Docs, Gemini, a microphone, and a Drive folder for lesson notes and an error list. In Gemini, choose Gems > New Gem. Set your language level and instruct the tutor to explain corrections, maintain errors, and produce drills from your transcripts; attach the relevant notes as context. 2) In a Google Doc, open Tools > Voice typing, select German (Deutschland), and speak for one minute. Read the captured text. 3) Paste it into the tutor and request a corrected version, a stronger B2 version, a mistake table, and five drills aimed at those mistakes. Work through the drills. 4) Before a real interaction, use Gemini Live to rehearse the situation at your level. Try the conversation with a real person, then retain the new vocabulary and errors in the study folder for the next session.
