What they did
1) Set up a Baguno account and obtain its dedicated invoice email address. Have the invoice PDFs you are authorized to process ready to forward. The extraction services run in Baguno's backend. 2) Forward the PDFs to that address. The developer's pipeline uses Azure Document Intelligence to extract invoice fields and table structure. 3) When extraction misses the grand total or fails on a complex layout, the backend retries the image with GPT-4o mini to recover missing fields and checks the arithmetic. 4) Open the resulting invoice in the dashboard, compare the extracted values with the document, and correct any errors. Finish with reviewed invoice data ready for the next accounting step.
