What they did
1) Use Claude Cowork with access to a Google Drive folder for Markdown files. Create a CLAUDE.md briefing that describes the household, active projects, and working rules; include the area's climate, home, and vehicles in the context used for maintenance. 2) Ask Claude to build a maintenance schedule tailored to that context, separating weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual jobs. Keep the master schedule as a Markdown file in the folder. 3) At the start of a month, have Claude read the master and extract only the work due now into a separate monthly reminder file. 4) Use that file as the month's checklist. When household circumstances change, update the context and master files so the next monthly extraction uses the revised information.
Worth knowing
The author's broader system still had calendar integration and scheduled automations on its backlog. The monthly file should not be mistaken for an already connected calendar.
