Compare flight and hotel options before making a booking

At a glance

Gemini uses public Google Flights and Hotels information to assemble trip options under explicit constraints. This workflow is listed under Travel, Flight Search, Hotel Planning.

What they did

1) Sign in at gemini.google.com and enable Keep Activity; Google requires it for flight and hotel searches. Use a regular text chat rather than Gemini Live or Gemini in Google Messages. 2) Ask for flights with your origin, destination, dates, passenger count, budget, seating class and maximum stops. 3) Ask for hotels using the destination, booking dates, nights, adults, currency and required amenities. Refine the request if the options do not match those constraints. 4) Compare the returned flight and hotel information and choose which options to pursue. Finish the reservation separately with the relevant booking service: this integration provides search information and does not book, change or cancel reservations.

Worth knowing

The Flights and Hotels integration also cannot check you in or provide alerts on saved flights. A returned option is not a confirmed reservation.
