What they did
1) Have your accounts already linked in Rocket Money. Open app.rocketmoney.com in Muse's browser and enter the login and two-factor code yourself. 2) Set task rules: inspect transactions only; never cancel subscriptions, negotiate bills, move money, change settings, or sign in to a bank. Require a report when the session expires. 3) Supply your card's benefit rules and reset periods. On the 20th each month, ask Muse to review year-to-date transactions and pair qualifying purchases with statement credits. 4) Request separate lists of benefits still unused before their deadline, purchases without a credit after ten days, and credits posted since the previous report. Read the findings and investigate exceptions yourself.
How it went
The author describes using the recurring report and follow-up questions to check his Amex Platinum benefits through an existing Rocket Money setup.
Worth knowing
Ten days is the author's review threshold, not a promised issuer deadline. Results depend on Rocket Money's last sync; Uber Cash does not appear as a statement credit there.
